“The coronavirus pandemic is complicating logistics processes around the world, but the efforts towards implemeting the concession of the Olvia and Kherson ports are following their previously approved schedule,” – the Minister of Infrastructure Vladyslav Kryklii stated on April 13, 2020.
“The Antimonopoly Committee granted permissions for the concessions of the ports of Olvia and Kherson. The non-essential terms of the concession agreement with QTerminals are being finalized and negotiations are ongoing in the form of online conferences, as Qatar has set strict quarantine requirements for the citizens who are currently unable to come to Ukraine. This is what we have been informed about through diplomatic channels. There are also ongoing consultations on the Kherson port concession, ” – the Minister of Infrastructure said.
“We continue to work on the preparation of the concession projects in the ports of Chornomorsk, Berdyansk, Odesa. We have to determine our international partners on the mechanisms of public-private partnership in the road sector, as well as on airports and train stations, ”- Vladyslav Kryklii summed up.
